I was already aware of the Down Payment Assistance Program when I began my search since my bank, which had already preapproved me for a mortgage loan, is one of the approved lenders for that program. I was referred to Teri by one of her satisfied former clients, and I wasn’t disappointed. Teri was in constant communication with the individual at my bank who was handling my application for down payment assistance. Teri handled the additional inspections required for the program and all other matters. All I had to do personally was attend a day-long training offered by the agency that administers the program and sign some paperwork downtown. I received $30,000 in down payment assistance, from the City of Orlando and Orange County. I ended up having to pay nothing at closing, and the entire process only took six weeks from the day my offer on a condo was accepted by the seller to the day I closed on it."

I just received your flyer at my new school Westbrooke Elementary. I have been meaning to write you both a thank you for some time. I have just been so busy first with the house and now with the wedding. It means so much to Grant and I that we are able to own our home. This was only possible because of all your hard work. I know there were a few scares, and it took a little longer than expected, but we are all moved in and really happy.

Also, thank you for the $ . It was a tremendous help after moving in to a place that needed a little love and lots of paint. I would love for Joan to see the house now that I finally have a new chandelier and furniture. =) However, the kitchen is still green and the bathroom still pink, got to love the 50s.

I will share with everyone what a wonderful program you have started and how dedicated you are to finding teachers a home. Grant and I are truly truly grateful for both of you. Thanks again.
