I started house hunting in August 2006.  I was already aware of the Down Payment Assistance Program when I began my search since my bank, which had already preapproved me for a mortgage loan, is one of the approved lenders for that program.  I was referred to Teri by one of her satisfied former clients, and I wasn’t disappointed.  Teri was in constant communication with the individual at my bank who was handling my application for down payment assistance.  Teri handled the additional inspections required for the program and all other matters.  All I had to do personally was attend a day-long training offered by the agency that administers the program and sign some paperwork downtown.  I received $30,000 in down payment assistance, from the City of Orlando and Orange County.  I ended up having to pay nothing at closing, and the entire process only took six weeks from the day my offer on a condo was accepted by the seller to the day I closed on it.  From a satisfied client and teacher. 2006
